AXFamily Terms of Service

1. Summary

• Only adults aged 19 or older can create an account.
• You own what you upload; we process it only as needed to provide the service.
• AI results are suggestions; check them before you save.
• Family Plus is a Google Play subscription that auto-renews, and you can cancel it in Google Play at any time.

2. Eligibility

Only people aged 19 or older can create an account. You confirm this when you sign up; if it is untrue, we may close the account. Children and family members under 19 appear only as profiles added by a guardian, without accounts.

3. The service

The service lets a family see and share events, to-dos, birthdays, material and photos, get reminders, and, if you choose, have AI organize material into suggested events. Parts of the service may pause for operational reasons (cost caps, maintenance, outages); we try to keep manual entry, viewing and reminders working when that happens. The service is currently in Google Play internal testing and features may change.

4. Accounts

You sign up with a Google account or email and keep your sign-in details safe. Do not use someone else's account or pretend to be someone else. You can delete your account at any time in the app settings.

5. Households and sharing scope

You can create a household and invite members with an invitation link. New items are private (“Only me”) by default, and only members in the scope you choose can see them. Even the family admin cannot see another adult's private items. What happens when you leave or delete a household follows the retention rules in the privacy policy.

6. Your content

You own the events, notes, photos and material you upload. We use this content only to provide the service (storing it, showing it within your chosen scope, AI organizing you request, reminders) and never for ads, training or sale. Upload only material you have the right to share.

7. Prohibited conduct and reports

Illegal content, spreading other people's personal data without consent, harassment or hate speech, and attacks on or automated abuse of the service are prohibited. Report problem content or AI results with the in-app report menu. We review reports, take action where needed (hiding content, restricting use) and tell you the outcome.

8. Notice about artificial intelligence

When you ask, the service uses generative AI (Google Gemini) to read your material and suggest events and things to bring (notice under Article 31 of the Korean AI Basic Act). AI suggestions are labeled and may get dates or details wrong, so check them before saving. Our liability for results you save without checking is limited to what the law allows. AI organizing has a monthly usage limit, and failed requests are not counted.

9. Family Plus subscription

Family Plus costs KRW 4,900 per month or KRW 49,000 per year (VAT included) and is sold only through Google Play Billing. With it, no one in the family sees ads, and the AI organizing limit and photo storage count increase. There is no free trial. The subscription screen shows the actual charge, billing period, auto-renewal and how to cancel before anything else.

10. Auto-renewal

The subscription will auto-renew for the same period until you cancel, and you are charged on the renewal date through the payment method in Google Play. If we raise the price or change terms against you, we tell you in advance and ask for consent as Google Play policy requires. If a payment fails, your benefits continue during the payment grace period set by Google Play.

11. Right to withdraw

You can withdraw from the purchase within 7 days of payment if you have not used Family Plus benefits (such as AI organizing beyond ad removal) (Korean E-Commerce Act, Article 17). If you have already used benefits, the used part is excluded, and we show this limit on the purchase screen in advance. Ask through a Google Play refund request or by email below.

12. Refunds

Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy and process; if you email us, we help through Google Play order management. After a refund, Plus benefits for that period end and you return to the free plan.

13. Cancellation

Cancel at any time in Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Benefits continue until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription, so cancel it separately.

14. Free plan and downgrades

On the free plan you keep the basic features: birthdays, events, to-dos, family sharing, reminders and data deletion. We do not reduce the free features already provided to your disadvantage. When Plus ends, existing material is kept and viewable; only new uploads beyond the limit are restricted. We never charge extra automatically for going over a limit.

15. Ads

The free plan shows one banner ad at the bottom of the screen. No ads appear on full-screen photos, invitations, consent, payment or deletion screens. We send no advertising push notifications or emails.

16. Restrictions and ending the service

If you seriously breach these terms, we may restrict your use or close your account after telling you why. If we end the service, we give 30 days' notice and refund the remaining subscription period through Google Play.

17. Liability

We work to keep the service reliable, but unless we act intentionally or with gross negligence we are not liable for losses caused by things outside our control, such as natural disasters, cloud provider outages, or your device or network. Reminders may be late or missing because of device settings or battery policies, so check important events yourself.

18. Changes to these terms

We announce changes in the app and on this page 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to you) and ask you to accept the new terms in the app. If you do not agree, you can delete your account. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
